Grove School is seeking a therapist who has clinical experience working with adolescents and their families, or child experience to provide therapy services to our students at our therapeutic Boarding School. 

The position includes working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including APRN’s, case managers and other professionals to best address the treatment needs of students in a therapeutic school setting. It also involves individual psychotherapy, family therapy and group therapy in a co-ed Residential Program on the CT shoreline. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with high functioning, yet clinically complex kids, in an environment that utilizes a systems and relational based approach to maximize emotional healing and healthy youth development. 

Candidates need to be license or licensed eligible in Connecticut and have experience with adolescents and families. Background and training in DBT, CBT, or EMDR is helpful. Experience with adolescents who live with anxiety, depression, ADHD, executive functioning, and other emotional issues is also an important factor. 

Requirements:

  • Licensed Clinician holding one or more of the following degrees: LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologists and PsyD.
  • Clinical experience with adolescents.
  • Written ability to perform concurrent documentation and navigate through electronic health records if needed.
  • Must be able to pass DCF, State and FBI Criminal Background checks.

Positions are Part-Time or Full-Time. Salary Negotiable.
